What is Yucca recurvifolia

Yucca recurvifolia or Kimigayoran (Scientific name: Yucca recurvifolia) is native to North America and is a cold-resistant evergreen shrub of Agavaceae family. The species name of the scientific name 'recurvifolia' means 'the candle of the Lord God'. Leaves are gathered in a long and sharp sword shape and spread radially. From summer to autumn, long flower stems are straight from the base of the leaves, and a large number of large pale yellow and bell-shaped flowers bloom downward in a conical inflorescence extending from the tip. Flowers have a peculiar smell. Breeding is done by breaking up. In addition to this species, Yucca genus has Yucca gloriosa(Atsuba Kimigayoran, Scientific name: Yucca gloriosa). Both Yucca recurvifolia(Kimigayoran) and Yucca gloriosa(Atsubakimigayoran) are high plant height. The difference between the two is as follows. Kimigayoran is taller and the leaves slightly softly hang down. Yucca gloriosa(Ashbankikigayoran) is relatively short, leaves are thick and hard.
