Geum (scientific name: Geum hybrid) is a cold-tolerant perennial plant belonging to the family Rosaceae, native to the Eurasian Continent to the Americas. The leaves are similar to radishes, so they are also called radish (radish grass). It grows naturally in fields from Hokkaido to Kyushu. Small flowers bloom from spring to summer. Basically yellow, but for garden varieties. There are vermilion red and orange.
