What is Capsella bursa-pastoris

Shepherd's purse , scientific name:Capsella bursa-pastoris , is originally from Eastern Europe and Asia Minor and is a biennial plant of the Brassicaceae family. It grows wild in the temperate zone area of the whole world now. It is one of the seven spring herbs in Japan. The flower does a cross peculiar to Brassicaceae and adds a white floret to corymbs. It grows in a wasteland and the roadside, the fields, vacant land, the garden. After a flower, flat inverse triangular fruit becomes. The radical leaf has a deep cut with form of feather. The leaf shape turns into spoon form, sharp form of feather, a long lancet arch by a stage of growth. It is eaten as materials of the porridge with seven cereals, and it is said that there are diuresis and an antipyretic effect. The Cruciferae bean winner drink and fruit shape with flat circular tip hollow winner looks like.
