What is Kokka Sonkaku(Atsubashiri)
Kokka Sonkaku Kiku>Ohgiku>Atsubashiri (scientific name: C. m. cv. Kokka Sonkaku) is a large, white, Atsushiri type of chrysanthemum.
Atsubashiri is one of the ways of blooming chrysanthemums bred in the Edo period (1603-1868), in which the thick petals of the large chrysanthemum are raised in the center (thick material) and the outer petals are lowered so that they flow downwards.
In addition to Kokka Sonkaku, there are Yukiyama,Gunjo no Yuki, and others.
