What is Hinoki cypress
Hinoki cypress (Scientific name: Chamaecyparis obtusa) is an evergreen conifer tall tree native to Japan and Taiwan. There is a white Y-shaped pore made of wax on the leaf. The leaves have a bactericidal effect, and are placed under food such as pine nuts and dried fish as a color, cushion, and for hydration.
A tree similar to cypress, such as Sawara cypress (scientific name:Chamaecyparis pisifera) there is. The difference between the two can be discerned in the form of a white wax around the pores of the leaf. The white wax becomes colorless when heated, so it seems to protect the leaves in response to environmental changes in temperature and humidity. Pollen flying in spring is considered to be one of the causes of hay fever, though it is a high-grade wood.
