Ichimonnjigiku (florists’ daisy)

Florists’ daisy 'Ichimonnjigiku' (Chrysanthemum morifolium cv. Ichimonjigiku) is one of the horticultural varieties of chrysanthemum. Chrysanthemum>Daijiku>Ichimonjigiku. Daikiku is a chrysanthemum with a flower diameter of 18 cm or more. There are Ichimonji and Mino chrysanthemums in the broadleaf category, and "Ichimonji" is a variety of single-flowered chrysanthemum. Therefore, Ichimonjigiku (= Ichimonji chrysanthemums) are large-flowered, single-flowered, flat-opening chrysanthemums with about 16 tongue-shaped flowers, and the tongue-shaped flowers are wide, long, and beautifully shaped. In order to show off and support the flowers, they are displayed on a round, thick white paper. Ichimonji chrysanthemums are also called "crest chrysanthemums" because they resemble the crest of the Emperor family. Petal colors include white, yellow, orange, light purple-red, and compound colors.
