Dendrobium smilliae or the Bottlebrush Orchid (scientific name: Dendrobium smilliae) is a perennial plant native to Australia and New Guinea and belongs to the orchid family Orchidaceae. It is also called 'the Bottlebrush Orchid' because the shape of the flower resembles a brush that washes a long bottle. This species of orchid is native to the southern hemisphere and grows on rocky areas of forests in the lowlands. It produces many small flowers 2 to 3 cm in length in a general inflorescence. The flowers are white with pink at the base and a green pea-like labial valve in the center.
