What is Tamaibuki
Tamaibuki (Scientific name: Juniperus chinensis cv. globosa) is a cultivar of the evergreen coniferous shurub of the family Cupressaceae. It does not have a straight trunk and forms a stumpy shape at the base of the tree, which makes it naturally spherical without trimming. Unlike Kaizukibuki (Scientific name: Juniperus chinensis 'Kaizuka'), it does not twist its branches, which is a common garden variety of the same species.
