Medinilla 'Hinotori' (scientific name: Medinilla hybrid 'Hinotori', M.magnifica x M.miniata) is a small evergreen shrub, a hybrid of Medinilla magnifica and Medinilla miniata by Japanese horticulturist Mr. Akira Ozaki (Chiba City, Japan).
Hinotori (M. 'Hinotori') has strong characteristics of M．magnifica, and the dark red color of the flowers is inherited from M. miniata'.
