What is Rhododendron kaempferi
Rhododendron kaempferi, yama tsutsuji is native to Japan and is a semi-deciduous broad-leaved shrub belonging to the family Ericaceae. It grows wild in the low mountain meadows of Hokkaido and Kyushu in Japan. In the spring, it produces red flowers.
