Stifftia chrysantha

Stifftia chrysanta (Scienttia chrysantha) is native to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and is an evergreen small shrub of the family Asteraceae. Asteraceae trees are rare. It blooms with an orange head flower in spring. The flower is a collection of tubular flowers, and as it blooms, a white pith comes out and becomes puffy. After the flowers, it is like the fluff of dandelion and diffuses the seeds in the wind.
