What is Strelitzia nicolai

Strelitzia alba (scientific name: Strelitzia alba, synonym: S. augusta) is an evergreen perennial native to South Africa and belonging to the Strelitziaceae family.
It is also known as the fan palm, white-flowered wild banana, white-flowered bird of paradise, and Cape wild banana.
Height: Up to 10 m.
The petioles are long, and the leaves are oblong, measuring 60–200 cm in length and 40–60 cm in width. The leaf margins are entire, and the leaves are arranged in a spiral pattern.
Flowers bloom year-round, but the peak blooming season is from July to December. White flowers bloom in the leaf axils.
