What is Dandelion
Dandelion (Scientific name: Taraxacum) is a perennial of the family Taraxacum native of Eurasia Continent and North America etc.. It is a wild grass that is familiar from childhood. In the spring, a head flower made of yellow tongue-shaped flowers blooms at the tip of the hollow stem. When the stem was cut, white mucus comes out. After flowering it becomes spherical caterpillar (fluff) where many white crown hair gathered. Fluff has seeds on each crown hair and breeds at the tip blown by the wind. In the late autumn leaves radially spread and stick to the ground, so-called rosette wintering. Leaves and roots are used as edible, medicinal herbs, yellow grass dyed dyes, not to mention east and west of Western. There are hundreds of species in the world.
