Comment
Japanese azalea (Scientific name:Rhododendron molle subsp. japonicum) is native to Japan and is a cold-resistant deciduous shrub of the family Ericaceae. It grows wild on plateaus and grasslands. It does not like the heat and humidity, it prefers a cool and sunny environment. The largest flower blooms in the moss found in Japan. At spring to rainy season, several scarlet five-petaled flowers are brought together in a large flower at the branch tip. There is honey in the flowers. The fruit that comes after the flower is a long spherical fruit with strong hair. There are fine hairs on the leaf edge. It is not suitable for cultivation in places where summer summer sun falls. The flower name is based on the resemblance of a rose like a lotus flower. There is a convulsive poison that causes respiratory arrest in the whole tree. As it is toxic even if it eats livestock such as horses and cows, it is also known as horse azalea. Lotus flower buds include yellow flower buds that bloom yellow flowers and white flower varieties grown from lotus flower buds.
