Crepidiastrum platyphyllum

Crepidiastrum platyphyllum or commonly called Wadan (scientific name:Crepidiastrum platyphyllum) is a biennial plant of the Asteraceae family native to Japan. On the cliffs of the coast of Honshu, Kanto, Tokai, Izu Islands and rubble, sand, makes bloom yellow flower in autumn. It resembles Crepidiastrum keiskeanum (Azetouna, scientifiC name: C. I resemble keiskeanum). Azetouna is low and wadan is high. The leaves of both are quite different.
