What is Entoloma sarcopum

Entoloma sarcopum or Ura beni Hoteishimeji (scientific name: Entoloma sarcopum) is a large edible mushroom of Ippon Shimizu Department Ippon Shimeji. It occurs naturally under broad-leaved trees such as Quercus serrata, and its shape is an umbrella, the so-called mushroom shape. The handle is white, hard and long, and it is totally solid. At first, the spores are pale yellow, but when they ripen, they become pale and red, and as a result folds are dyed in a pale red color. As an edible mushroom, umbrellas are big and full of patterns. I ate it with stirring oil, but there was bitter taste and shakiyaki feeling.

Common name: Entoloma sarcopum or Ura beni Hoteishimeji , scientific name: Entoloma sarcopum, aka: ura ippon shimeji (reverse one shimeji), size: 10 to 15 cm, umbrella color: gray brown (front), light yellow → thin crimson (back), pattern color: whitish, Pattern length: 15 cm, inside the handle: solid, can be edible: yes, cooking method: fried with oil: bitter and shakiyaki feeling.
