What is Geum aleppicum

Geum aleppicum is a wild perennial plant of the Rosaceae family, native to temperate regions of the northern hemisphere. In Japan, it grows wild in the mountains and fields at altitudes of 200 to 3,500 meters above sea level in Hokkaido and north of central Honshu. It produces small yellow five-petaled flowers in the summer.
