Sempervivum arachnoideum (scientific name: Sempervivum arachnoideum) is a rosette type succulent plant which is an cold-tolerant evergreen perennial plant of the "Sperperubivum (scientific name: Sempervivum)" and is native European to Central Russian mountains . This species is a gardening variety named "Makigino (curd silk)" in which rosette shoots are covered with white cilia. In Japanese name, it is called Kumo-no-su Bandaisou (Spider web).
