Polygonatum macranthum or Big Footed Solomon's Seal (scientific name: Polygonatum macranthum) is a perennial herb of the family Asparagaceae, native to Japan, the Korean Peninsula and China. It is native to the mountainous forests of Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu. From late spring to early summer, it produces about 40 light green flowers on the leaf axils. The height of the grass is 100-150 cm. The leaves are oval with a pointed tip and produce drooping flowers of the same size as the narcissus, with about 40 flowers per plant. It has hairs on its stamens. The dried rhizome is used as a Chinese medicine called huangjing. It looks like a larger version of Polygonatum falcatum.
