Cape Blanco

Cape Blanco or shirayuki misevaya (scientific name: Sedum spathulifolium ssp. pruinosum) is a native of Central America and the western United States, and is a succulent plant in the genus Sedum in the familyCrassulaceae. It is a non-heat-tolerant crawling perennial and alpine plant. It grows in clusters and spreads out horizontally with a long liner. The leaves are silvery-white in color, as if they were covered in snow. It produces many yellowish star-shaped flowers in spring to early summer.
