Anemone pseudoaltaica

Anemone pseudoaltaica or Kikuzaki ichige (scientific name:Anemone pseudoaltaica) is a hardy perennial of the family Ranunculaceae native to Japan, etc.. In spring, it forms clusters on the forest floor and forest margins in the low mountains from Hokkaido to central Honshu. The leaves are rhizomatous, with a three-depressed, three-leafed leaf ring. A single white to light purple flower resembling chrysanthemum blooms at the tip of the stem in spring.
