What is Lilium formosanum
Lilium formosanum or takasagoyuri (scientific name:Lilium formosanum) is a hardy bulbous plant native to Taiwan and lets white flowers bloom resembling a Lilium longiflorum (Easter lilies, scientific name:Lilium longiflorum). Formosanum (Lilium formosanum) and Longiflorum (Easter lilies, :Lilium longiflorum) are similar and have red streaks on the outside of the tube-shaped flowers both cylindrical and make the white flowers of the same size bloom , but Formosanum has slender leaves , higher plant and longer flowering time than Longiflorum. Longiflorum blooms in the spring, Formosanum does to fall from summer .

Shin Easter lily (a new Easter lily, a scientific name: Lilium x formolongo) is one article of cause of Liliaceae made from a natural crossing of Formosanum and Longiflorum. Lilium x formolongo lets a white pipe-formed flower bloom in early fall from summer, but there is not the red stripe outside of a pipe , and the leaf is thin and spreads with a seed.
