What is Portulaca grandiflora
Portulaca grandiflora or Matsuba botan (scientific name: Portulaca grandiflora) is native to South America, it is non-cold-resistant annual grass of the family Soulaceae. Flower is like a small button (peony), leaves are fleshy and seems to be leaves of pine. Matsuba botan is similar to Pochuraka (aka: Hana Chewyuyu), but the leaves are different. It is also similar to Matsuba gikiku (pine needle chrysanthemum), but a flower of a pine needle can be distinguished from a flower like a chrysanthemum.
