What is Galium asiaticum

Galium asiaticum (Scientific name: Galium verum var. asiaticum) is native to Japan, the Korean Peninsula, China and Russia ,and is perennial plant of the family Rubiaceae. There is a beard on the roots and it turns red. It grows naturally in the sunny grassland of Hokkaido - Kyushu. There are no spines in the stem, there are furs. Leaves are linear with short spines at the tip. From summer to autumn, many coniferous inflorescences are stretched from the tip of the stem and leaf axil and many small yellow flowers bloom. The flowers will be split and flat.
