Veronica Oxford Blue (Veronica peducularis 'Oxford blue') is a modified variety of the perennial herb " V. peduncularis" of the family Plantaginaceae. It is a veritable Veronica In the spring to early summer, spread the purple-purple florets like a carpet. Autumn leaves fall in winter. It has excellent cold resistance and heat resistance, and is used for flower bed ground covers, rock gardens and hanging baskets. The flower is similar to the wildflower bird's eye, Oh-inu-no-fuguri (scientific name: Veronica persica) , the color is darker and the flowers are bigger. The flower name "Oxford Blue" is based on the fact that the flower color is similar to the school color of Oxford University.
