Chrysanthemum japonense 'Ashizuri nojigiku' (scientific name: Chrysanthemum japonense var. ashizuriense) is a cold-hardy evergreen perennial in the family Asteraceae, endemic to Japan. It is a variety of Chrysanthemum nodigiku and is considered to be the original species of small chrysanthemum. It grows wild along the coast from Cape Ashizuri in Kochi Prefecture to Cape Sada in Ehime Prefecture. The leaves are small and lobed in the middle with white hairs on the leaf edges. The head flower consists of a white tongue and a yellow tubular flower.
