What is Senniti-kobo

Sennichikobou (Alternanthera porrigens 'Senniti-kobo') is an evergreen perennial plant (herbaceous plant) of the family Amaranthaceae, genus Alternanthera, native to South America, including Peru and Ecuador.

It grows to a height of about 30–70 cm.
In autumn, small reddish-purple flowers bloom in spherical clusters on branches that emerge from the leaf axils of the stems.
The leaves are green with entire (smooth) margins.
From October to December, it produces reddish-purple flowers about 1 cm in diameter.

A similar flower is Great Burnet (Sanguisorba officinalis).
