Enkianthus perulatus is a deciduous shrub of the family Ericaceae enkianthus genus native to Japan. It grows at the rock of mountain from Mainland to Kyushu and Shikoku in Japan. Small white flowers(there are also peach colored flowers) from spring to early summer small bell-shaped or vase-shaped blooms in the drop-down. Fall foliage, leaf color is a fiery red with beautiful shades. In the same genus there is Enkianthus quinqueflorus, which is an evergreen tree native to Hong Kong and in the early spring Pink flowers make bloom.
