Hoya multiflora or Shooting Star Hoya (scientific name: Hoya multiflora) is native to Malaysia and is a non-cold-resistant evergreen cranial shrub of the family Apocynaceae. It takes a roots from the stem and attach to nearby objects. The leaves are elliptical in shape, green in color, shiny and attached to life. Leaf edge is entire with waves. From the leaf axilla, flower stems are extracted and scattered inflorescences extending from the tip are assembled into a few tens of small flowers of arrow shape like a vector. The shape of the flower is peculiar, a long pale yellow floral tip has a yellow pentagonal petal as a pedestal, a white planar secondary corolla at the tip of it, a dark colored crown hidden behind the secondary corolla. "Hoya" in the genus name means "Hoy", a gardener in the UK, "multiflora" in the species name is "multi" and "flora" meaning "multiple flowers". Flower language is "friendship".
