Orthosiphon aristatus

Orthosiphon aristatus, catswhisker or Neko-no-hige (scientific name: Orthosiphon aristatus) is an evergreen perennial herb of the Lamiaceae family. Stems are erect,and has 4 lip-shaped petals and long stamens and pistils of flowers in the summer and fall reached from flower to flower whorls. Flowers change from white to light purple. In the Malay Peninsula in origin and folk medicine. Agglutination is similar to Beard's the cat that did it in Japan, referred to in Malay means cat beard orthosiphon (Kumis Kuching).
