Rubus palmatus (scientific name: Rubus palmatus) is a small evergreen vine of the genus Rubus in the family Rosaceae, endemic to Japan. It grows naturally at the edge of sunny forests in Honshu. Japanese name 'Momiji ichigo' comes from its palm-shaped leaves, which resemble autumn leaves. The flowers are white and bloom downward in April. The flowers are followed by yellow edible fruits.
