Washingtonia Robusta

Washingtonia robusta (Mexican washingtonia , scientific name:Washingtonia robusta) is an evergreen tree of the Arecaceae family native to North America. Washingtonia robusta(W.robusta) is close relation of Washingtonia filifera(Washington palm, a scientific name:Washingtonia filifera). The leaves of the open palm grow thick on the tip of a very high trunk. The trunk is accompanied by the leaves which white noodles-formed things are outstanding. A trunk has the dead leaves with figure such as straw raincoat without dropping.The genus name is depend on the name of 'President Washington'. It is used as the channel tree.W.robusta and Washingtonia filifera(W. filifera) are very similar to each other.
