What is Aquilegia pumila

Aquilegia pumila( scientific name: flabellata var. pumila) is cold-resistant perennial plant of the family Ranunculaceae originally from the northern part out of Honshu from Hokkaido. It let the interval of the radical growths leaf produces a slim flower stalk in summer, and a flower of the violet bloom downward. As for the petal, the tip is white and the rear becomes the spur and winds it up. There are five pieces sepal with violet, too. It grows wild in a stone place and the grassland of the high mountain. The gardening kind blooms in the good place of the drainage by the half light of the rock garden of the level ground.
