Potentilla megalantha or Chishima-kinbai(Scientific name: Potentilla fragiformis ssp. Megalantha)is a perennial plant of the family Rosaceae. In the summer, it grows naturally in rocky areas and grassland on the coast of Hokkaido. The flower is a yellow five-valve flower, each of 5 pieces of calyx and sub-sepals. The rhizome is thick, and a flower pattern is attached. The leaves have 3 serrated teeth and serrated teeth.
