“A White Prayer Floating on the Water's Surface”

a white prayer floats gently.
Without a ripple,
without a speck of murk,
it simply and quietly basks in the light.

Even on days when my heart is in turmoil,
just like this flower,
if I take a moment to breathe,
the water gently reminds me
that a clear world will return.
