What is Pyracantha coccinea

Firethorn , scientific name:Pyracantha coccinea, is a hardy evergreen broad-leaved mature trees of the genus of Pyracantha , of the department Rosaceae native to China and southern Europe. Spring-early summer the tree body looks white so many white little 5 petaled flower, bloom. Autumn flowers were finished-as winter flexes branches are small fruits of red, Orange and yellow give the lot. So beautiful and ornamental trees. Many fruits are fond of birds, planted in gardens, parks, etc., enjoying the birdwotting.
Covers the entire trees like flaming red fruit, called Firethorn in Japanese, but because it is the Fire flames and thorn bites, stings and saw flames, was named. There are following typical varieties. The Firethorn are (scientific name:Pyracantha coccinea) Europe-consists of red fruit, native to Asia. Tachibanamodoki (scientific name:Pyracantha angustifolia) is called the hosobanotokiwasanthesi (narrow Tokiwa the thorn) as native to China, consists of leaves are oblong, yellow fruit. That same red berries in the same Department of Rowan and the feeling is similar.
