Ezo kibushi (scientific name: Stachyurus praecox var. ezo) is a variant of Kibushi , a deciduous shrub in the family Stachyuraceae, native to Japan. It grows wild in the mountains and fields near the coastline in the southeastern part of Hokkaido. This plant produces yellow four-petaled flowers in the spring with a tail-shaped inflorescence.
