Edelweiss (scientific name:Leontopodium nivale) is native to the high mountains, such as the Switzerland Alps, subalpine perennial. Simulates the scape rosette leaves and erect from the Rhizome. Are covered in white fluff compact the whole plant to withstand harsh environments. Flowers that look like Usuyuki, whereas Japan leontopodium discolor, also called Western usuyukiso. It is the national flower of Switzerland. Looks like a white flower bracts in the flower heads are yellow tubular flowers only. Julie Andrews starred in Japan, screened in 1965 film the sound of music song "Edelweiss" became suddenly famous. Flower name noticed words Germany's 'edel': noble, 'weiss' : white.
