Dianthus speciosus or Takane Nadeshko (scientific name:Dianthus superbus var. speciosus) is native German and is a cold-resistant evergreen perennial of the family Caryophyllaceae. In Japan, from Hokkaido to the north of the Chubu region, it grows naturally in alpine grasslands or rocky areas. It is an alpine variant of Kawara Nadeshiko ). It brings the magenta flower, which the tip of the pentaflower further subdivided.
