What is Miyama sentoso
Miyama sentoso (scientific name: Chamaele decumbens f. japonica) is endemic to Japan and is an alpine variety of sentoso (C. decumbens), a perennial herb in the Chamaele genus of the family Apiaceae . It grows naturally in the mountains from Aichi Prefecture to Shikoku and Kyushu. It has no bracts and small bracts. Compared to C. decumbens, the lobes are linear and the lobes are narrower with a width of 0.3 to 1 mm.
