What is Calypso bean
Calypso beans or Panda beans (scientific name: Phaseolus vulgaris 'Calypso') is a native herb of Hokkaido and is a cross breed of an annual herb of family Fabaceae. It will be about 45 ~ 90 cm tall. When planting in the summer, white to light purple flowers will bloom in autumn. After the flower, a blue pod is formed, it becomes mature and becomes pale yellow.
