クレマチス(Clematis)

Clematis (scientific name: Clematis L.) is a cold-hardy, perennial climbing plant belonging to the Ranunculaceae family, native to Japan, China, Europe, and North America.
It is also known by other names such as “Tessen” and “Kazaguruma” in Japanese. With strong vines, it twines around fences and stakes, producing many flowers (which are actually sepals).
