Zephyranthus candida or pink rain lily (Scientific name: Zephyranthes carinata) is a native of Central America to West Indies and is a small bulbous plant of the genus Tamasdale. Previous scientific name was Zephyranthes grandiflora, but now it was considered synonym. saffron is similar to flower name It is the origin of. Because flowers bloom all together after the rain, in English names, it is also called Rain lily. From summer to autumn, six pink flowers (rarely eight indian flowers) will bloom. Z. carinata is similar to {{Haburansus}} (Habranthus). The difference between the two is that Z. carinata has a dark flower color, the petals are flat and overlapping is small, and long stamens stand out. On the other hand, haburusus has a thin flower color, the petal does not fully open in half opening, stamens are in the cylinder and are inconspicuous.
