Ukon zakura (scientific name: Cerasus lannesiana 'Grandiflora') is a horticultural variety of the Rosaceae Prunus genus Oshimazakura-based satozakura. From mid-April to early May, light yellowish green double-flowered large flowering flowers called turmeric color (depressed gold) are brought into bloom.
The flower color is yellowish green at the time of flowering, but it gradually becomes white after flowering and eventually becomes pink. The leaves are light brown and fall in autumn. In addition, it is different from turmeric of Chinese medicine.
