What is Commelina

Commelina, Asiatic dayflower or Tsuyukusa, Scientific name : Commelina communis, is a cereal grass of the family Commelinaceae, native to East Asia such as Japan. It is a wildflower that blooms in fields and plexuses. The stem crawls sideways and diagonally branches well. In the summer, spread the inflorescence bloom and make the blue 3 flower bloom. Leaves have egg-like lanceolate shapes and attach one another. The flower looking triangle are made up of two blue petals and one white petal. Because it is one day flower, it blooms early in the morning and deflates in the evening. It is made into medicinal herbs. There are Common-spider-wort(Scientific name:Tradescantia ohiensis) in flowers that are likely to make mistakes. Flower language is "nostalgic relationship". The genus name Commelina is attributed to Mr. Commelin, a Dutch botanist who worked in the 17th century. There are three botanists in the Commelin family, two of them active in the academic conference and one was not able to play because he died. As it has two large blue petals and one small white petal in the grass, it was regarded as a flower name. Commis of seed name means "common".
