Thunbergia alata ,Yahazu-kazura or commonly such as Black-eyed Susan vine , scientific name:Thunbergia alata, is a native of East Africa, and a compact vinegar evergreen perennial of the Acanthaceae. From the axilis, monoplant or stretch out the rhinoceroses, bloom a yellow flower with 5 fissures in the funnel shape. The corolla is called "Black-eyed Susan vine" or "Black-eyed Susan" (Susan of black eyes) in the English name because the peripheral part is orange or yellow and the petal center is black. The naming of this "Black Ey'd Susan" is in a ballad called playwright "John Gay" 's "From Wisdom William to Black Eye Susan", "They'll tell thee, sailors, when away, In every port a mistress find." There are types where the center of the flower does not become black. The Japanese name "Yahazu-kazura" is as the shape of the leaf resembles "Yahazu (notch of an arrow)" and is a kind of veterinary plan(kazura). It is also called scientific name "Tumbergia alata". "Genus" "Thunbergia" is a contribution to the botanist Thunbery, and species"alata" are Latin words, "alatus" with wings on the petiole. The flower language is "beautiful eyes". It is an image from Susan's eyes.
