What is Pogonia

Pogonia (scientific name:Pogonia japonica) is a deciduous perennial orchids of origin, Japan. Sunny wetland communities to Wild Orchid stems of many issues on the ground, underground Rhizome. Leaves oblanceolate in oblong shape with only one at the bottom of the stem. In early summer at the stalk end pink florets bloom sideways 1 wheel only.
