Leucothoe catesbaei is a hardy evergreen small shrub of the Ericaceae Leucothoe genus native to North America. Spring enkianthus (azalea) and Andromeda (pieris) of like white urn-shaped flowers, clusters (racemes) in bloom gathered to. Stalk has a reddish-brown. Leaf color is green into yellow or red spots.
