Camellia sasanqua Spring sasanqua 'Umegaka'

Camellia sasanqua Spring sasanqua 'Umegaka' (scientific name: Camellia x vernalis 'Umegaka') is an interspecific hybrid created by natural crossing between the evergreen broad-leaved medium shrub "Camellia japonica or Tsubaki (scientific name: Camellia japonica) " and "sasanqua" (scientific name: Camellia sasanqua).　It is a spring bloomer that flowers from December to March. The flowers are double, medium-sized (5.5 cm in diameter). The buds are peach-colored, but when they bloom, the flowers are white to very pale peach, but the red color of the buds remains on the underside of the outer perianth. The flowers have a refreshing fragrance.
