🌰Chestnut Dewdrop Poem “Secret Harvest”

Unnoticed flowers,
hanging low, sway in the wind.

At their base,
a small white blossom blooms softly.

Male and female,
knowing their separate roles,
support each other,
connecting the seasons.

Before anyone notices,
quietly,
they begin preparing for fruit.

In autumn,
the sweet fruit emerging from thorns
is proof of spring's promise.

What grows unseen
is strongest and warmest.

The male flowers (catkins) hang down long and fluffy,
dense clusters of flowers bearing many stamens.

The female flowers bloom at their base, small and round, white to green,
eventually growing into fruits wrapped in prickly husks by autumn 🌰✨

Chestnut

Chestnut(scientific name:Castanea crenata) is a deciduous tree of Fagaceae family , castanea genus native to Korea, Japan. Bark has a light brown black, vertical cracks.
